Banana, a native fruit of South East Asia, is our favorite. It is one of the 6 fruits mentioned in the Quran. Allah says in the Quran (with English translations) “And (banana) trees layered with fruit” (Quran 56:29). Banana has a lot of great benefits. It has an excellent dietary source of potassium and other minerals that help our body to recover after long hours of fasting. It is also has a fair amount of fiber to help with the digestive system.
Banana is almost a must-have on our dining table nearly every day. It is easy to peel and ready to eat at any time. Today we would like to share with you a recipe that is so simple but yet so irresistible, the banana dumplings. Malaysians love to have the banana dumplings as a side dish during breakfast, at teatime and during Iftar.
Here is the simple recipe for you to try:
- 3 ripe banana
- 3 tablespoonful of flour
- cooking oil for deep frying.
1. Mash 3 ripe banana
2. Mix with 3 tablespoonfuls of flour
3. Deep fry in cooking oil.
4. Ready to eat
